Daryl Cowan

Daryl is an employment law specialist with over 30 years experience. He has been recognised in the Legal 500 for many years as a ‘Leading Individual’ (and is listed in the 2025 edition as a ‘Leading Partner’).
His practice covers all employment law areas including TUPE, and is recognised for his work in defending employers in the employment tribunal. He works closely with clients with restructuring exercises and redundancy matters and he particularly enjoys assisting them in the sometimes tricky employment implications of business sales. As an aside, he also has niche specialisms in agricultural related employment matters, together with the horse racing industry (acting for trainers and jockeys in BHA regulatory matters).
