Lauren Ward
Lauren Ward joined the firm’s Norwich Commercial Property department as an Associate Solicitor in August 2020.
Lauren is experienced in a wide range of commercial property transactions including leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals (including development sites), commercial leases (and associated Landlord and Tenant matters), overage agreements, option agreements, condition contracts and secured lending transactions.
Lauren also provides property support to our commercial/corporate and insolvency teams.
Career exposure includes the following:
- A wide range of property transactions, including residential developments, commercial developments for major developers and local authorities, portfolio investments and property finance in sectors such as energy, leisure and tourism, automotive, healthcare and education. This work is high-value and complex and involved working with other specialists (such as insolvency and corporate internally, and external advisors).
- Acquisition of a large site of bare land with the benefit of planning permission for commercial development purposes (circa £15m).
Various investment matters for a local social housing group (commercial property specific). - Agreement for Lease subject to planning and build conditions for a large automotive manufacturing company (with dealership requirements).
