Biography

Sean joined Isadores in October 2025 from Stone King where he had been a Partner and Head of Construction.

Sean trained as a lawyer in both England and Scotland and qualified as an Advocate in 2014.

​With a long career spent working in the defence sector, Sean has expert experience in the areas of government procurement, contract and commercial management. Before coming to Law as an Arbitrator in 2008 Sean was a Chartered Surveyor and remains a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).

​Seans work is centred around all aspects of construction and infrastructure. Non contentious work includes the negotiation and drafting of contract documents, and the appointment of consultants and contractors on behalf of the employer. Working with Education sector clients this work is often associated with the academisation of schools or the transfer of an existing academy through a Commercial Transfer Agreement.

Sean also acts as Project Counsel providing all the required legal support associated with a project. Working with clients from project inception through the construction phase to hand over. Sean is the lawyer for the project, and is closely involved on the client side throughout the design and construction process.

Seans dispute work typically involves matters of building defects and breach of contract, disputes over payments, and issues involving extensions of time and loss and expense claims.
